fnatic have advanced to the grand final of ESEA Invite Season 17 Global Finals after taking down iBUYPOWER 2-0 (16-12 de_cache, 16-9 de_inferno). Opening map saw fnatic start by winning the terrorist pistol round, and Robin "flusha" Rönnquist clutch a one-on-two in A bombsite on round four to extend the Swedes' lead to 5-0. Eventually fnatic racked up a dominant 12-3 terrorist half on de_cache. iBP fought back, and with Eric "adreN" Hoag's one-on-three got fairly close, but had to cave at 12-16. Second map was de_inferno, and fnatic were given a chance to start on probably their strongest half in the game. iBUYPOWER went up 4-3 early on, but then lost all but one of the remaining rounds. Up 10-5, fnatic traded rounds as terrorists until finally hitting the sixteenth round win, good for a 16-9 win, and a 2-0 series win, and a spot in the grand final against Virtus.pro.
