SPLYCE are through to the MLG Americas Minor playoffs after taking down Leader-1 2-0 in the Group B decider match (16-12 on de_dust2 and 16-2 on de_cache). The Group B decider match of the MLG Americas Minor was a rematch of the group's opening game where Leader-1 narrowly edged out SPLYCE 16-14 on de_dust2. With de_dust2 as the first map of contention, Leader-1 kicked off their CT side with a pistolround win and a follow-up eco round cleanup. A bomb plant in the first round by SPLYCE however allowed David "DAVEY" Stafford & co. to buy on the third round and pick up the team's first round. Both teams continued to exchange blows, which led to an 8-7 half in favour of SPLYCE. On his team's CT side however, Arya "arya" Hekmat led his men to a much more commanding defense that saw SPLYCE string together the remaining eight rounds to take the first map 16-12. de_cache on the other hand was a complete blowout as SPLYCE's arya and Abraham "abE" Fazli led a charge that saw the team put up a 13-2 T-side half against Leader-1, win the second pistolround, and close out the map 16-2 to win the series 2-0. As a result, SPLYCE advance to the Americas Minor playoffs where they will face OpTic in a best-of-three. MLG Americas Minor ChampionshipBest of 3
